With our focus having been shifted a lot more towards prayer these last couple of weeks, it’s easy for us to get to such a stage where our prayers become ‘automatic’. They get initiated without any faith or thought behind them. Prayers like these often lack the power needed to make them a reality. Jesus clearly taught us that we need to believe and then ask; and only then will it come to pass. Too many people ask for one thing in prayer, but outside of the prayer time they confess something completely different. They have no faith in what they ask, as if they are not completely convinced about it themselves. Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith there is no way you can please God.
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Herein lay the ABC's of faith:
A- Accept God's Word as final B- Believe in God's Word C- Confess God's Word
You need to accept God's Word in your life and believe that God will act on it. If you truly believe in what you are praying, your entire being will change. Your face will light up, you will be confident and you will start to praise and thank God; all because you believe in what you've prayed.
You must make up your mind about what God's will is. God says whatever YOU desire, believe and pray about, you will have. When you accept and believe in God's Word, nothing is impossible. God moves upon His Word. You should go to Him like a child that expects the gift he/she has asked for. Be like Mary and say, "Be it unto me as is your Word" Luke 1:38. If it's in the Word it's His Will for you.
We had a fantastic week-end in both Bloemfontein and Pretoria. Upington’s Correctional Facility is now a part of the Live-Link. We will reach people everywhere. We also saw over 700 salvations during our services. I salute all the committed members in CRC for always supporting the church no matter what the cost.
The tenders for the Pretoria building are now finalised. We are very excited to see the building being erected on the grounds. Thank you for making this great work of God possible. I know that every one of you that contributed and that are still contributing to this project will experience the richest of blessing in Jesus Name!
If you would still like to contribute and don’t know how; please visit our website www.crc.org.za or e-mail

I want to encourage you to fulfil your commitment as soon as possible as we are in need of starting this project urgently.
Here is how you can go about giving into the building in the North.

It is all about finishing the race; it’s not just about starting the race. In any marathon the athletes actually receive no reward for starting the race but only for finishing it. This must be our lives; a culmination of efforts to finish the race strong. Every decision you make, every habit you create and every activity you partake in either leads you to the finish line or causes you to drop out. We can’t even for one second allow ourselves to lose focus of our purpose. We can’t allow even the slightest crack in our character, because through these Satan will find his way into our lives.
Eph 4:27 and do not give the devil a foothold
Be prayerful and vigilant. Keep your character intact at all costs. Do this so that you can finish strong. In 2 Chronicles 26 we read about a king who started his race strong. In fact for 56 years he followed God and did great things. However, just for an instant he got filled with pride and stepped out of the Will of God. He came to a tragic end.
In light of this story, we see that success reveals what is in your heart. People can generally handle failure, but few people can really handle success. Pride always has a way of creeping into our life. A truly humble person that becomes successful will display a greater attitude of thanksgiving every time they accomplish something. Becoming more successful as a sportsman, businessman, professional etc. should compel you to be at church more, pray more and actually just get more involved. This is a humble attitude to God; knowing what you have and what you achieve is all because of God.
We had a fantastic weekend once again. Our services were jam-packed. Just over 500 people gave their lives to Jesus in our services. God is always faithful in His promises. He always ensures that the catch is great. Also, thank you for your continued faithfulness in inviting your friends and family to church. As you would obviously have noticed that our services are so packed that we are in dire need of expanding our facilities in both Pretoria and Bloemfontein. The Pretoria building project is already underway, as you may know. It is now also time for Bloemfontein.
As you may have heard, we have been looking to build a second auditorium in the northern suburbs of Bloemfontein. We have acquired a prime piece of property in this area for a price well under market value; Praise God. Due to the contributions many of you made years ago we already collected R4 million out of the R7 million needed to acquire the land. I urge every king and generous supporter in our ministry to once again support us in this venture.

The Pretoria building project is running smoothly. We expect to finalise the tenders soon. That is truly going to be a House of God where we will see this country and nations around the world impacted. Thank you for your continued generous support in this. Remember if you build God’s house, He promises to build your's.
Dreamweek is also fast approaching. This is going to be a time in God’s presence not to be missed. Our array of guest speakers promises to deliver a pertinent Word from God. We have specifically planned the dates of Dreamweek to accommodate everybody. 21-26 September 2010. It is a shortened but intensified conference like last year for the businessman. The youth will now also still be able to attend Dreamweek and still have enough time to go home for the holidays. Nyretta and I believe that this Dreamweek will be the most amazing Dreamweek to date.
Be Blessed,
