Live under the Influence

Sunday evening’s service is a testimony to the fact that if we come to God to take another drink in His Presence He will fill us. We saw the Lord move everywhere including through all the live-link churches. Our expectation and anticipation is God’s invitation. James 4:8 states that if we draw near to God He will draw near to us. God is breaking out radically in our midst.

I again encourage you to refer back to Acts 2:13-21. Let your life be so influenced by the Holy Spirit that people think that you must be drunk. Lose your inhibitions. I also remind you of the seven signs I discussed that show you’re under the influence of the Holy Spirit:

  1. Your Tongue (Do you always speak negatively?)
  2. Your Worship (Are you unable to give your all in praise & worship at church?)
  3. Forgiveness (Do you constantly bear grudges?)
  4. Your Witness (Are you constantly sharing your testimony with others?)
  5. Your Attraction (Are you constantly attracted to negative things?)
  6. Your Giving (Are you radical in your tithes and offerings in church?)
  7. Your Fight (Does it feel as if you’ve lost your will to fight?)

If you feel inadequate in these seven areas it’s time to get under the influence of the Holy Spirit again!!

Time to be radical!! The ground works in Pretoria have begun for the building. Great news because of immense favour a major construction company is doing the ground works for us at a third of the original price. I believe we will maintain this favour throughout the project in Jesus Name!

Also as you are under the influence of the Holy Spirit, ask Him in what way you are going to play a significant role in financing this project.  There are three ways you can contribute to this financially:

Firstly, within a month or so we will have a pledge Sunday where you can pledge a monthly amount or once amount to the project. Secondly, you can sponsor a chair in the auditorium @ R15 000 per chair. Thirdly, for people without money you can get involved with a network marketing project that will help finance the auditorium. This week-end we saw over 760 salvations in our celebration services. We also saw over 40 salvations in the prisons. Please continue praying for our work in the prisons. We also had 18000 people attend our services. Our auditoriums are full; so let’s hasten God’s work in building bigger churches!

Don’t forget my wife and I are hosting Casey and Wendy Treat for the relationship seminar this Wednesday and Thursday @ 7pm. We will broadcast it over the live-link. Do not miss this awesome event whether you are married or single. God wants to bless you in the relationships that you have.

Be blessed.

Take Another Drink PDF Print E-mail

The Holy Spirit is urging us to take another drink of His presence. In Acts 2 the people who were filled with the Holy Spirit looked like they were drunk. They lost their inhibitions; they seemed so overwhelmed by the Spirit of God. In Eph 5:18 we’re told not to get drunk with wine but rather to get drunk on the Holy Spirit. God wants you to be overwhelmed and almost inebriated by His presence in your life.

People need to see the difference of God in us. It should look so peculiar that some may consider us to be drunk (Acts 2:13). Drunk? Someone that is intoxicated loses his inhibitions, overcomes his fears, has no worry of what people think about him, is full of confidence and does not easily take offence.  We need to be just as radical.

Take another drink of the Holy Spirit. Someone that drinks will always go back for another drink and this keeps him drunk. We need to be drunk with Holy Spirit and keep coming back for another round.

Thank you to everyone that prayed for me while I was in Brazil. I was able to meet many phenomenal church leaders; literally leaders of churches with millions of members. I just again realised the great task we have in our hands. There are over 600 people groups that have not received the Gospel of Jesus. We can’t be luke warm. We need to be radical (as if we were drunk) and get the Gospel to the nations. We will start sending out more and more missionary teams around the world.

What awesome celebration services we had this week-end. We had just under 18000 people attend our services and just over 650 salvations. God is really bringing in the harvest. Let us continue to win our world for Jesus.

CRC-Midrand/Johannesburg is almost underway. We will finally have confirmation of its location within this week. Please join the CRC Midrand group on FaceBook:  http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=crc+midrand&init=quick

We will post all the necessary information on there! We really seek to cater for all our young professionals and business men that are in that area.

Be Blessed,
