It is God’s grace that saved us; it’s God’s grace that keeps us saved. If we focus on not doing what is wrong; driven by the fear of doing something wrong, we will carry on doing what is wrong. The Law of Moses served as a moral guide to point us in the direction of Jesus. You do not stop sinning by telling yourself to stop. When you get saved the Holy Spirit installs a desire in you for God. This will automatically move you away from sin.
It is too often that people say, “I must first stop sinning and then I will walk in the Spirit”. Gal 5:16 states, “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh”. The way to conquer sin is to walk in the Spirit. Paul also asks in Gal 3:5 if we receive God’s Spirit because we keep certain rules and regulations or is it because of what Jesus has done for us? By trying to observe the law you will never be perfect enough to be called righteous. Jesus is our safety net. He has enabled us to be called righteous (Rom 5:21) despite the state of our lives.
We are so excited about the year to come. I declare that it will be the most productive and prosperous year for every CRC member. Thank you again for your commitment and hard work this year. We are building this church for our children’s children’s children. Your commitment is invaluable to this vision.
This past weekend we saw over 17000 people attend our church and over 400 people getting saved. Thank you that even though we’re at the end of the year and so much is going on and you still make a difference by inviting your world to church.
Please ensure that you plan to make time for your family over this festive season. They are the most important people in our lives.
Blessed to be a blessing, At Boshoff

Would you ever be able to prove yourself worthy to God? Could you do enough good things to become righteous? No. Our relationship with God requires no proving of our self worth. God loved you enough to send Jesus to die for you. That is enough proof! You can do nothing to top that! God looks at us through the eyes of Jesus. The sacrifice that Jesus made was enough to cover our mistakes of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Too many people are prisoners to guilt and condemnation. Continuously focusing on what you shouldn’t do creates a desire to do what you shouldn’t do. Rather celebrate that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. God is on your side and He will reward you. Focus on God’s grace. Gain a revelation of what Jesus truly did for you. Do this, then sin and legalism will be removed from you. CRC is one church in many locations. Your commitment to your local church enables us to reach people beyond the confines of a single church. We saw close to 18000 people attend our services yesterday and almost 500 salvations. My Facebook profile has helped me connect to so many people. We aim to answer and respond to all questions. If you still haven’t registered on Facebook please do so. You will receive an inspirational message everyday. Blessings, At Boshoff
