CRC Pretoria Building Project PDF Print E-mail
I am sure you are all well aware of the RAPID growth we are experiencing both in Bloemfontein and Pretoria.

Recently we increased our tent auditoriums' seating capacity in Pretoria from 1500 to 2000. This past Sunday over 1900 adults attended our first service, and over 1700 the evening. Praise God!

God is clearly adding to the church daily those who are being saved just as He did in the Book of Acts. Since January over 1600 new members have joined our church in Pretoria, and over 2500 in Bloemfontein.

The obvious challenge we are having in Pretoria is one of space and that brings me to talk to you about our new building project. As you are aware we have instructed our architects to increase the seating capacity from 4000 to 5000 with additional facilities and therefore the delays. The good news is that the time has come to go on site and to begin the ground-works and thereafter the construction of our beautiful new auditorium. The estimated initial cost of this project will be in the region of R70 000 000.

Currently we have R8 000 000 in our building fund account received through pledges.

A Big thank you to all who have been faithful in giving to this project: Ecclesiastes10:19 "...Money answers all things!" I want to encourage everyone who has pledged to continue to honour the pledge you have made to God, to do what you possibly can do!

For those who have not yet started contributing, I want to challenge you to give "Big" over and above your tithe into the building of this house! We need everyone to do what they possibly can do. The bible is clear: First build God's house then He will build your house.

We are believing to build this building for cash in Jesus name to the glory of God. This will be possible as every member does his/her share!

We will be contacting those of you who have pledged to inquire whether you are still in the position to honour your pledge. This is simply in order to know what monies will come in when, in order to plan the construction of every phase of this building. So please don't be offended!

I trust that just as people come together to construct the temple of the Lord in economic challenging times during the days of the prophet Haggai, so the members of CRC will rally together to build this great house of influence for the Glory of God.

Haggai 1:7-14: "Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified," says the LORD. "You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?" says the LORD of hosts. "Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house. Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands." Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him; and the people feared the presence of the LORD. Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, spoke the LORD's message to the people, saying, "I am with you, says the LORD." So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God

I pray that God will stir up your heart and show you what you can do to hasten the building of this temple! Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and always be assured of my love and prayers for you!

Come on family - Lets Go Big For God!

Ps. Please continue to invite your world to church.

Remember: We are here to win the lost at any cost!

Much love & blessings,
At & Nyretta

Pentecost PDF Print E-mail
Just a bit of encouragement as we enter into this time of Pentecost, I have been ministering on Relationships and is it not significant when it comes to Pentecost as we read in Acts 1: 1- 2 "When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. " That is why Unity is so important family!

Don't forget the Pentecost message will be preached this Sunday and we have our Half-night prayer this Friday night at 22h00 until 02h00.

Keep on, keeping on!

So we read in the news about the recession, but as Christians, filled with the Word - we know that our "Provision is on its way" why do we know that? Because in Philippians 4:19 Paul says: "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Family, I encourage you to keep sowing in the land God has given you, sow good seed, as we read in Galatians 6: 7,9 "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."

Continue to be faithful, to honour God's word!

News

Some interesting facts and figures: Our Church in Rustenburg has officially opened and over 60 people attended this past Sunday and 44 people attended CRC Perth - Australia, which also opened over the past weekend.

Thank you for your commitment and prayers and continue to tell the world of Jesus and if you have family or friends in Perth, Australia or Rustenburg, encourage them to visit the churches there!

All the best to the Bulls players, time to add more silverware to your display cabinet guys!

Much love & blessings,
