One of the foundations for any great work of God is that people joined together and prayed it into existence. Prayer is what built the platform for this church. Sometimes we see all the amazing things happening in the church today and neglect to remember where it came from. People see the great miracles that God does in our midst and they forget to give God the Glory for the many faithful saints labouring in prayer behind the scene.
James 5:16b (Amplified Bible) “ The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”
Prayer is like the oxygen we breathe. It is essential in becoming who God created you to be. In the above mentioned verse we see that it is prayer that actually makes the power of God available in our lives. If you don’t have continuous and heartfelt prayer, you won’t continuously experience the maximised Power of God in your life. I challenge you to make a commitment to pray at least 15 minutes every day. Those 15 minutes will quickly expand and before you know it you’re praying more than an hour a day.
Pray for your business. Pray for your family. Pray for the church and its leadership. Allow Blessing to be released in your life. Allow your prayer to make the power of God available to you for what ever circumstance you may be in.
It is prayer that enables us to see hundreds of people saved every week. This week we saw over 400 salvations in church and 220 salvations in the prisons. Every one of those people were prayed into existence by someone. We need to continue praying for these people. Pray for the people in your area, workplace or school. Pray for the churches’ alters to be full and pray for your home-cell to grow.
Sunday evening we had 13 churches linking in live to our service in Bloemfontein. Rustenburg and Bethlehem linked in for the first time. I believe that we will see over 100 live-link locations in the next few years. This is a move of God and all the Honour and Glory belongs to Him.
The Pretoria building project is going well. Thank you again to everyone that has contributed so far. I would like to encourage you to keep on supporting the project as our first major payments are coming up.
The greatest generation the world has ever seen is being raised up in our midst. I believe that this generation is going to make a greater impact than any other generation before it. That’s why we need to build these buildings and that’s why we need to pray so fervently. We only have a window of opportunity to bring this generation into God’s Kingdom. This is our time. Let us arise as one and build for the Glory of God.

Dan 6:10 speaks about the courageous display of a man sold out to God. Daniel was stuck in a place where the king of his country forbade them to worship God. In this verse he deliberately goes into the most visible room in his house, opens his windows and prays to God; not once but three times. This act would surely have led him to his death. Ultimately his courage inspires many of his people to turn back to God.
We need to be like this. We need to be uncompromising in our stand for Jesus. We are now in a time of great spiritual turmoil. This is a time that God is busy causing the most strategic revival. In the next 4-5 years we will see thousands of strong young leaders rising up. As God’s church, we are required to be bold. We need to fearlessly make a stand for Him wherever we go. Make a stand in your workplace, at university, your hostel, your home etc. Don’t be judgemental, but also don’t tolerate what is contrary to the Word of God.
I hope all the mothers were spoilt rotten this mother’s day. Thank you to all the mothers that support our vision. Your love and prayer has much influence in our church. We truly appreciate you.
This past week-end 17000 people attended our services and 500 people got saved. I still, however believe that there is more God wants us to do. Let us never neglect inviting our friends, colleagues and family to church. Build God’s House and He’ll build your house.
I am still amazed to see the way in which God is using so many of you to pledge finances to the Pretoria Building. I want to still encourage you if you haven’t made a pledge to this awesome project yet, to please contact our church offices or go to our website www.crc.org.za
I want to call on you to start making your contributions as the time is coming near for us to pay for the first phase of the building! We can give big because we have a BIG God!
We are continuously expanding our live-links. Bethlehem will now go on the live-link from this coming Sunday. We currently have Bloemfontein, Pretoria, Welkom, Kimberley, Durban, Richard's Bay, Ballito, Cape Town, Stellenbosh, Potchefstroom, Port Elizabeth and Gabarone on the link!
