South Africa is a land of opportunity. Christians need to stop being affected by what the media says and be more concerned about what God says. South Africa is under the sovereign protection of God. While His church remains active and attached to purpose God will move in this country.

Matt 16:18 “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

By listening to the media and to unsaved pessimists you are simply worsening the problem. Deut 28 says that we are blessed as a country and nothing can cause us to lose that blessing. We need to be different and we need to inspire hope in the lives of everyone in this beautiful land.

God has called us to lead the people of our own cultures through the challenges they may face. God has called the Afrikaaner to lead the Afrikaaner, the Sotho to lead the Sotho, the Xhosa to lead the Xhosa, the Indian to lead the Indian etc. over the bridge of race and culture. God is an inclusive God; He will never allow for the exclusion of any person based on culture or skin colour. Over and over Jesus tells us to love our neighbours: this is to love the person that is different to you.

God will remove anyone in opposition to His purpose. You must decide as a South African; are you going to be a part of the God-Solution for this country or are you going to be a part of the problem. Remember, together in Christ we really can do more.

This is one of the most crucial weeks this church will ever see. This week we make history! This is the week where the culmination of God’s work in your life and the love you have for this church is revealed. This Sunday it is Pledge Sunday for the Pretoria building project.

I know you realise that it is vital that we build that auditorium in Pretoria. If it weren’t for the building in Bloemfontein we really wouldn’t have made the impact we are making. Likewise, Pretoria is politically, socially and largely financially the most influential city in RSA and our auditorium will enable us to effectively transform that city.

I know you have been spending time with God concerning this. It is time that this Sunday we raise the first R60 million for the R120 million project. God will provide through His people. Take this as your opportunity to be a part of something great!

To assist you Nyretta and I are hosting the King’s and Priests Seminar On Wednesday and Thursday night 19:00. There you will gain greater understanding of your role in church and in the Kingdom of God. Come join us as every home-cell attends this event. Come prepare your heart for what you will contribute. You will be able to pledge a once-off amount, a monthly amount or be able to buy a chair in the auditorium for R15 000. Make your final decision by this Sunday!

We had an amazing week-end over 500 salvations and almost 17000 people in attendance. This is just the beginning of many great things that we will see this year as God continues to move in our services. I again want to encourage you to carry on inviting your world to church. People keep on blaming everything else for the conditions of their lives. While we know that our lives are a result of the seed we have sown in our past. God wants to perform that miracle in your life. But it will never be without you acting out in faith by perseverance. God is waiting for you to apply the necessary wisdom and keep at it. This releases His ability to do the impossible; as you do the possible.

Phil 2:12b “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;”

When you trust God for a miracle in your life you have to apply wisdom. You have to work out through prayer and God’s Word, what you are going to do to change the situation. James 1:5 also says that if you need wisdom ask God: it is the primary thing that God wants to give you. Proverbs makes mention over and over again that in everything you do, gain wisdom.

What should your prayer sound like when you need a miracle?

Should it be “Lord, solve this problem for me!”?.....

No!!

It should be, ”Lord please give me the wisdom to solve this problem!”

You will be surprised to actually see how in control God is of everything when you apply wisdom and activate your faith. So keep on trusting God. Keep on doing the possible. God will come through for you!

I truly believe that the church in Pretoria is becoming vastly influential. That building will be a key point in influencing the lives of many top leaders and officials in the country. This country is under God’s sovereign direction. We will see these young radical leaders in this country come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

The Pledge Sunday 25 April is drawing near. I really trust that you are spending time to prepare your contribution to our Pretoria Building Project. Thousands of lives are going to be changed. If you feel the desire to already contribute towards the project do it as follows:
